Medical Staff

Originally from Colorado, Julie received her BA degree in education from the University of Southern Colorado in 1970 and began her teaching career in Pueblo, and Denver, Colorado until 1976. She did her graduate training in Special Education prior to her marriage to Dr. Milne in 1976. In 1995, Julie founded the first Chapter of National Charity League in Nevada for mothers and daughters to work together in community volunteering, etiquette, and leadership training and experience the cultural arts. From 1997 – to current, Julie has been the office and business manager for Milne Medical Center. Working as Dr. Milne’s assistant for patient facilitation, she is available for patient questions and any discussions necessary to help patients feel more comfortable with their medical care. In 2000, Julie and Dr. Robert Milne founded a non-profit organization, I CARE, with a sizeable donation from a patient to assist others who needed financial assistance to cover the cost of their health care.
